The Christchurch exhibition was very successful with around three hundred visitors over the five days it was open during Level 2 restrictions and we received positive feedback which was very encouraging. The seventy-one prints are now in Auckland and Toni Mosley, the original curator and organiser is very excited for you to view if you are in the Auckland area.
The exhibition of artworks celebrates the love of letters (type) and letterpress printing, showcasing the traditional ways of printing and keeping the passion for print alive.
The Printing Museum in Wellington will have the exhibition after this and will exhibit at the Wellington Book Arts Centre, at a date to be confirmed.
Expressions of interest for displaying in Dunedin early 2021 have been expressed and we are working with Dr John Holmes to make this happen.
The exhibition will be available for display in other regions within New Zealand. Please contact us if you would like more information on this.
Entries will become part of a permanent collection which will be managed by the Ferrymead Printing Society.
